Please note that these are not "full time" employees. They freelance and do their own thing while helping build the $ILLUSION on the side, though I do plan to get them full time as soon as we can support it. I built relationships with them throughout the past near decade of trying to build stuff in Web 2. Talent like them is a dime a dozen.
Originally vested over Our “core” crew’s full allocation vests over 3 years in 2 tranches.
Tranche 1: Was to be vested over year 1 originally, but I vested everything when our launch didn’t go to plan and our crew stepped up.
~~Tranche 2: Core crew who grow into their role are given a double up second tranche. Originally vests at 12.5% every 3 months (so fully vests in 2 years)… but I gave them 20% upfront post launch.~~
As of 5/23/25 - at our marketcap of 70k, I went ahead and just released the full allocation to the team. They have jobs yet still helping here and there. At this point, I just wanted to seal the deal that they are one of us forever. No matter where our charts go from here, I just wanted them to know personally from me that they earned their whole slice. It is what it is.
